My Father-in-law was a good hearted individual. When I was a little girl I use to be afraid of his look because I was dating his son. As we became older I realized that this was the hunter in him. He has to look this way to get his kill. Dad always made people smile, laugh and only cry behind his jokes. We will all miss him dearly but we do know that his legacy lives on with his kids and grandkids. He has taught us all so much that we can never forget Henry J White Sr from Colfax, LA. Shake a leg in Heaven with mom Father-in-law. I miss you.

Henry was a good friend and always a pleasure to be around. He kept everyone at the VAH laughing with his funny stories, like the one about the time he was chased by an ostrich, and about the time his entire smokehouse was stolen with his meat in it. He was a blast at our kitchen tournaments, like when he drove Gary's boat through the bushes and up onto the bank. When you felt down, Henry could always cheer you up. He will be missed by many. My condolences to his family.

To Henry's children and grandchildren your was a special friend to me as a fellow huntsman and outdoors person. We loved the VAMC fishing tournaments held at Kincaid and other place and always full of laughter enough to cause everyone else to enjoy those days. And always ready and willing to give a helping hand in times of need. Be strong and stay close to the Lord Jesus.
