Mr. Meshell was a member of Riverview Baptist Church, Alexandria. Tommy's greatest passion was life, and he enjoyed every moment because, he knew that it was a precious gift from God. He had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed getting things muddy, especially four wheelers. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but what he taught by his example will never be able to be replaced.

That was left to cherish his memory are his son, Dakota Meshell; mother, Ann Harrell and stepfather Jimmy; sister, Melissa Socia and husband, Pete; step- brother, David Harrell and wife, Camilla and their children Georgia, Jackson, and Jacob; uncles, Johnny, Amos, Paul, Steve, and Frank Meshell; aunt, Beverly Newton and a host of extended family to numerous to name.

Tommy is also survived by C.H. and Masel Socia, nephews, Zach Socia, and Blake Socia and wife, Jackie and their children, Audrey and Grady who were also a huge part of his life.
