William "Dick" Snyder, 92, of Crawfordville, died at the Margaret Z. Dozier Hospice House on March 1, 2018 with his loving family.

He was a native of Wakulla County and loved the outdoors. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, where he served in the South Pacific in World War II. He was married 40 years to Faye Snyder before her death. He was a self-employed Brick Mason for many years. He taught his sons, grandsons and many men how to do hard, quality work in the masonry industry. He enjoyed turkey hunting (there are many funny stories told by his friends) and fishing. He loved his family.

Survivors include his daughters, Linda Gilliard and Linda Liberty (Ted); sons, Bill Snyder, Ricky Snyder (Connie), and James Snyder; daughter-in-law, Marcilla Snyder; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great- grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Faye Snyder; and son, Jab Snyder.

Family will receive friends Saturday, March 17, 2018, at 4 p.m. at Family Funeral Home, 84 Ochlockonee St. in Crawfordville.
