Loved husband of Alison Frances (nee Fox) for 37 years. Father of children with Marie (dec): Valerie (husband Brian), Gregory (dec), Glenn (wife Julie) and Joanna (husband Mark). Grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 6.
You were always grateful for the precious moments in Life.
We will love you forever.
DAVIES (George):
Dear Dad,
Thank you for helping shape my foundations, as my Guide in everything important in Life. A man of honesty and integrity. Role model - wise beyond words patient, kind, sincere, warm and selfless. Combining humanity with humility you were always brave, steadfast and decisive when it mattered. Giving and receiving Love came easy to you. Will miss you terribly, but understand it's time now for eternal rest. Have fun with the others you know up there.

DAVIES (George):
Family was everything to you and children and grandchildren among the things that made you smile and laugh - when you were happiest. Thanks for the advice on painting, always spot on! Sorry to take away the driver's licence at 92 and never met anyone so grateful for what they had. A decent man who deserved so much.

Dearest Dad, You passed away so peacefully in my arms. A humble selfless gentleman of truth, integrity and kindness. We will miss you dearly but keep you close to our hearts.

Thanks for being the best father, grandad and role model anyone could wish for. Fond memories of British Paints stories and sharing football, fish 'n chips and chocolate eclairs. Rest in peace and love always.

My first job when I left school in 1967 was with British Paints. I remember it well. I remember Mr Davies (we did not call bosses by their first name in those days). He was a very lovely person & when I was shown how to use the "switchboard" with the plugs etc... I am afraid he was the first person I disconnected. But he did not go crook at me..how good was that. My sympathy to all his family & friends. (Carole Young "nee" Minett)
