To the Picano family, Joan was one of those special people whose soul just glowed and held you in its warmth. She was truly a beautiful person, inside and out. I miss her greeting at our St. Clare Church here in Westerly. My condolences to you on your loss.

We are sorry to hear of Joan's passing and send our condolences and prayers to Joe and all the girls and their families. She was always so pleasant and caring and she loved to share stories of her family when visiting the market , and always asked about our children and grandchildren. Her smile and warm friendly presence will be missed .
