TO: Grandpa, Mom, Uncle Chuck, and Aunt Connie,

As her oldest grandchild and mother of her only born great-grandchild I'd like to tell you all the truth...

She didn't take me back to school the day I got my braces off,(back when I was in 7th grade and 12 years old) instead she took me on a shopping spree.

Was she not the hippest and beautiful at that!!!! ALWAYS in style!!! Giving us tips on how to stay that way!!!!
Grandma I miss you!!! RIP in Heaven!

I will remember you forever!!!

Dear Connie, Brenda and all the Del Montes,
Sorry this is a little late but I just saw this today. I met your mom and dad by chance one day a few years back and she was very warm and friendly (so was your dad for that matter!) When we found out we had a connection it made the evening that much nicer. So sorry for your loss. Take care of each other... especially your Dad. My deepest sympathies are with you all.

Chuck and Family,
There is worse time than the loss of a mother. I know what you are going thru in losing what is the single most important compass in your life. Your mom touched so many people's lives, and I know all were enriched by it. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My Aunt' Sues' smile-
If you knew my aunt then you knew my aunts smile.
Some of us were lucky enough to see a lot of them.

Some of her smiles included an infectious giggle. Especial when she heard some of our not so practical family jokes.
Some with a little bit of a warning letting us know she found it humorous but perhaps not funny or proper enough to repeat. Whatever the case it was always a loving honest smile that made us feel special.

Along with her talent for making us feel special were the best ice cream soda's ever! Fancy glasses, straws, and cherries, like her love she left nothing out. She also made the best breakfasts ever. I never understood why the waiter at a restaurant would look at me funny when I ordered “auntie sues eggs”

She stilled smiled after cooking delicious meals, packing the car ,spraying us with mosquito spray as we all went off on our Sunday picnics to “NOWHERE”!

She had a contagious smile.
When I got older I always stopped over at Christmas. She would make me a high ball so strong my smile lasted well into the New Year!

Later her loving smile was there not only for me but for my children and grandchildren.

I will always smile when I think of her.
