Our dear friend Claire....we will miss her so very much. I met Claire when Kathy was in second grade. My daughter, Susan, was her classmate through public school. We had many years raising our children, sharing our triumphs and sorrows. I lost my husband in 2000, Claire lost Dick about 2003....we had much to share. We took a few road trips together, laughing, talking, and sharing. Then, she brought me and my now husband Paul together. We will be forever grateful. I must share that Paul and I were honored to visit her in her last days. Kathy and little Ellie were there with Rachel, Claire faithful caregiver. Kathy and Rachel had Claire dressed in a beautiful lavender dress, her hair gorgeously done, with her makeup in tact! She looked elegant! I will always remember. It is a loving gift Kathy gave to me at that time that I can remember Claire that way. In the near days following, Claire was waning and finishing leaving. We will remember you always Claire....we know Dick and our loving Savior welcomed you with opened arms!

In memory of my "Colorful Butterfly Friend", Claire,
I will miss my visits in Kentucky, chats on the phone and email with my first grade best friend. We reunited in our "Senior Years" and had fun remembering our school days and bragging on our children. We matched our wits and compared similar likes and dislikes. After all, that is what friends are for. We shared our faith, belief in Divine Intervention and that there are Guardian Angels on Earth. Rest in Peace dear Claire. As you said, we should always end our conversations with, "Love and Hugs", Gail
