Little, Frank K.
1928 - 2018
Frank K. Little at the young age of 90, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents Ann and Charles, first wife Shirley Sylvester, second wife Marion Given, and daughter Mary Beth. He is survived by his sister, Mary; son, Jonathan; stepdaughters, Marilyn Frank (Bruce), Nancy Spiert (John); grandson, Charles Little; granddaughters, Tracy Scott (John), Christy Peterkoski (Dan), Shelley Backs (Andy); and four great-grandchildren. Frank graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with his B. S. in Aeronautical Engineering. He also attended the University of Michigan where he earned a Master's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Soon after, he joined the Navy and served during the Korean conflict. His career took him to North American Rockwell in Columbus, Ohio, then to Pratt and Whitney Aerospace in West Palm Beach, Florida. Upon retirement, he and Marion enjoyed traveling the globe; volunteering at golf tournaments and soup kitchens as they enjoyed various social groups with their friends in Florida. They moved back to Ohio in 2005 and were very involved with Scioto Ridge Methodist Church, their family, and their neighbors in Dublin. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to the First Community Village Foundation, 1800 RIVERSIDE DRIVE, COLUMBUS, OHIO 43212. A memorial service will take place on Sunday, September 23 at 1 PM. Attendees will use the Burkhart Entrance at First Community Village, 1802 Riverside Dr., Columbus, Ohio 43212.

Uncle Frank was a fine man, and we were lucky when he and his family became part of ours. We share in this loss with our cousins and other family members.

What a sweet sweet man Frank was. We so enjoyed him while he was living at First Community Viillage! We loved to hear him talk of his time in the service.He was so polite to everyone. Frank, you are with daughter Beth again. We have missed you in Roxbury, but glad you are at peace. Marilyn, you have been so good to Frank through many of his recent challenges. Frank, we will keep you in our hearts.
