Lawrence Williamson Obituary
Lawrence Williamson of Forrest City was born Nov. 17, 1978, and departed this life on Father's Day, Sunday, June 17, 2018. He was the son of Robert Jones and Dorothy White Williamson.
Lawrence was a proud graduate of Forrest City High School. He worked for Food Giant and West Tree Services for years. Lawrence was a very a determined person and it was his goal to forge his own professional path, and he became a successful entrepreneur, owning his own lawn company named L&L Lawn Service. He led by example in both intellectual and artistic pursuits. He recently united with the Earle Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder Terry White.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Ida White; brothers, Billy Joel Williamson and Jessie Williamson and a sister, Sharon Spencer.
Lawrence is survived by his mother, Dorothy White Williamson of Forrest City; father, Robert Jones of Forrest City; daughters, Lawrencia Williamson, LaShara Williamson and LaNiya Williamson, all of Forrest City; fiancé, Tamara Johnson of Forrest City; sisters, Floria (Glen) Mason, Gloria White and Brittany Williamson, all of Forrest City, Diane Williamson of Conway, Tasha Hardaway of Jonesboro, Joanne Stocker (Kendell) Jones, Angela (Timothy) Jones, and Joyce Ann Jones of Little Rock; brothers, Jessie Williamson and Roderick Williamson of Forrest City, Nathaniel (Deanna) Williamson of Marion, Johnny Hardaway (Sarah) Williamson of Columbus, Ohio, Kwindarius Jones of Osceola, and George Carter of Little Rock; a special cousin, Clearence (Jennifer) Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Kincaid Funeral Services.
The funeral service for Lawrence Williamson will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 11 a.m., at Cornerstone M.B. Church in Madison with Elder Terry White delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Forrest City Cemetery.
Kincaid Funeral Services of Forrest City is in charge of arrangements.
