Shirley Keeling Richter, age 68, of Colt, died Friday, July 13, 2018, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. She had been in the hospital for the past week. Shirley was born Nov. 19, 1949, in McClellan, and was the daughter of Leroy Hand and Eula Greenhill Hand. She lived in St. Francis County most all of her life, was a retired cafeteria worker for the Forrest City Public Schools and was a member of the Colt Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Eula Hand, and one brother, James William Hand. Shirley is survived by one son, Tommy Dale Keeling of Forrest City; two daughters, Lisa Ann Martin of Wynne and Mary Ann Hamilton of Greenville, Miss.; five sisters, Faye Harrison and Brenda Nofizinger both of Hunter, Connie Elmore of Trumann, Louise Hicks of Vanndale and Francis Hall of Marked Tree; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Services will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at 2 p.m., at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
