Ulas Aldridge Obituary
Ulas Aldridge was born March 20, 1927, in Forrest City, to Albert Aldridge of White Hall and Alice Richard of Colt.
Ulas served in the U. S. Army from 1952-1954. On March 4, 1963, Ulas Aldridge married Eula Jean George of Dansby. They were married for 50 years before she preceded him in death.
He was a member of Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the usher board for many years.
Ulas worked for the Bakery and Confectionery Company for over 22 years. He also worked part-time for the Forrest City Public Schools.
Ulas passed away peacefully on the 10th of April, 2018, at Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis.
Ulas is survived by a brother, Edward Aldridge; five sons, Ulas Levelle Aldridge, Winferd Aldridge, Melvin George, Kenny George and Carnell Johnson; three daughters, Brenda Manning, Sylvia Gibson and Hope Phillips; 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2018, at Kincaid Funeral Services.
Funeral service for Ulas Aldridge will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 10 a.m., at New Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor James Brooks delivering the eulogy. Burial will be at Casteel Cemetery.
Kincaid Funeral Services of Forrest City is in charge of arrangements.
