Marianna and Mark
I just learned about Paul's passing today when talking to Maggie. I am so saddened this news. Paul was warm, articulate and so genuine. I always looked forward to our visits and will miss him dearly.

In Memory of Paul A. Boivin
I first met Paul when he came to the once a month Spanish Mass at St. Bernadette in Bridport. I notice how kind and concern he was about his worker. He realized his worker had artistic talent he got him some more supplies to do his art. He also prepared and served some of the meals after these Masses. He once did the food for one of the Mexican Counsel visits.
The last time I saw Paul was at Field Days this August, I was at the Rights and Democracy table getting signatures on a petition for Universal Primary Healthcare in Vermont. He came to table with his wife and daughter, we had a lively discussion around this issue and how it should and shouldn't be implemented. His wife looked concern at the extended of our discussion I assured her I knew Paul and was used to him being a lively debater with great knowledge and passion. He stayed a few more minutes to asked about whether we would ever have Masses for the Farm Workers and parted with a smile. After he left I chuckled to myself because this was so like Paul.
I'm not what you would call a close friend of Paul but he was a person that struck me if I needed help he would have been there for me. In his honor, I want his family to know I will hold him in pray and their needs for healing. I also like to say if you need me please feel free to call on me.
Sincerely,
Beatrice Parwatikar

Dear Marianna, Aimee, and Mark,
We very sorry for your loss.
Your husband, dad, and brother was a kind and hard working fellow. We only got to know him in the time that he came to our home. a few times a year, for the past 5 years, to deliver corn (fuel) for our stove. Our family always enjoyed his company when assisting him in emptying the truck. We were so shocked with the sad news and will miss our fond interactions with Paul.

Many prayers for Pauls family. Paul you were a man that will never be replaced. Your compassion for friends and stangers will forever be in my memories. Our memories go back to that first class taught by John Oxholm. Founding TLFRS then on VARS. You are one in a million. Will miss that smile everytime we meet. Rest in Peace and know that you will be missed.
