My father (1931-2019) told me that when he told his father (1892-1967) that the greatest hitter he ever saw was Ted Williams, my grandfather replied, "You never saw the Babe, kid." We all saw a great deal of Henry at Busch Stadium, and, before my time, at Sportsman's Park. And I tell my son that the greatest I will EVER see is Henry Aaron (with my childhood, personally autographed photo of Stan Musial hanging on my wall).
Our deepest condolences to the Aaron family. Thank you for sharing him with us in St. Louis (even when it hurt, which was a lot), and with the rest of baseball and America. And thank you, Henry, for all you did for the greater good.

PS - Henry, would you pass on howdies to Stan, Bob Gibson, Lou Brock, and especially Curt Flood up there in baseball heaven?
