Christmas 1941 at my Grandpartents was a sad time because we didn't know the fate of those on the Arizona. My cousin's family lost Donald Caplinger.

Greetings,
My name is Thom Cicchelli an artist and photographer from Chicago.
I will be entering a photo I took while visiting the memorial at Pearl Harbor in this year's ArtPrize held in Grand Rapids, MI in the fall.
I would like to dedicate my entry to Lauren and if possible get a copy of his service photo to be included with my entry.
I can be contacted by email at: [email protected] if a family member would be so kind. We must never forget!
God bless this...

May God Bless you and all of your fellow crew members, living or deceased, Rest In Peace! Just a retired Air Force Veteran.

What a great legacy he leaves behind. Passing of a family member at any age is painful and leaves an emptiness inside of you. My prayers are with your family during this. I thank him and your family for your service to this country. May he rest in eternal peace.

Salute!
