Barry Cormier

1947 - 2021

CORMIER, Barry Barry Cormier, age 73 of Victoria, BC passed away on July 23, 2021 at Veteran's Memorial Lodge at Broadmead. Barry was born in New Glasgow, NS, on August 9, 1947, grew up in Montreal, QC, eventually settling in British Columbia with his family. Barry worked as a teacher and school principal in his earlier life, then dabbled in property management, investment and tax services finally retiring from the commissionaires where he was proudly stationed at the RCMP headquarters. He was also an accomplished contract bridge player. Barry is survived by his brother Joe Cormier, daughters Jenna Yuill and her children Skylar, Dayton and Oliver, and Brynne Croy and her son Steven. He will be missed by his ex-wife and close friend Carol Harvey and his step-son Brangwyn. The family will be holding a private memorial at a later date.
