I have a lot of fond memories of Dale - he was such a nice guy as well as a good musician. I have memories of drinking with him at The Beaver, at the
Empress and seeing him busk at various places around town. I am currenlty in town visiting family & friends and was pretty shocked to see his obituary. My condolences to his brothers Kevin, Shawn and Dana, and sister Michelle.

Dale was almost the first person I met when I came to Victoria 40 years ago. I walked into Trippin' Dale's and he came right over the counter singing "Hello, I Love You", and laid a big wet kiss on me. He became one of my most loved friends and I will miss him big time. Dale was one of the good guys.

I'm very sorry to hear of Dale's passing. I've known him since the very early seventies when we busked in Victoria. Dale was a one of a kind, talented, caring person and was a big part of my formative years as a musician. I will miss him.

Dale was a friend of mine during school in Esquimalt, where we hung out together, mostly at his house listening to music. I got to know his whole family and have some wonderful memories. Dale was one of the guy's I often thought about, long after our school days ended and we went separate ways. My sincere condolences to the entire Brophy family.
