Helen MACNAUGHTEN Obituary

MACNAUGHTEN Helen Teresa, born May 10, 1909 in Halifax, N.S., died June 11, 2003 at the Victoria General Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband , Mac in 1985 and her grandson, Dale in 1982. She was loved and treasured by her family ; daughter, Barbara Nedzelski and son-in-law Ned, son Hal MacNaughten and daughter-in-law Mickey King, daughter, Helen Penlington and son George MacNaughten. She also leaves four grandchildren, Michael (Dawn), Cathy (Gary), Cindy and Darren, eightgreat-grandchildren, Taylor, Leah, Jenna, Lindsay, Brittany, Shanna, Chelsea and Shayla. Helen spent the last five happy years at Abbeyfield House in Sidney. Her charm and wit will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held on Monday June 16 at 2:00 pm at St. Elizabeth's Church 10030 Third Street, Sidney. Gratitude is expressed to all the medical staff at Saanich Peninsula Hospital and 7A South VGH.
