Joseph TARNOWSKI

TARNOWSKI Joseph Thomas, born in Brandon, Manitoba, on June 16, 1923. It is with great sadness we announce that Joseph Tarnowski passed away on June 21, 2002. He will be reunited with his beloved wife Caroline, son Don, his mother and father, Frank and Katerine Tarnowski, and sister Jenny. Joe will be deeply missed by his children, Dianne (George), Kelowna, Joe Jr. (Ann), Kelowna, Jane (Dennis), Pender Island, Rob (Linda), Vancouver, Pat, Susan and Ken (Dawn), Victoria; grandchildren Renee, Jeremy, Andrea, Bridget, Jennifer, Jonathan, Jeffrey, Lisa, Jodi, Christopher, Tyson, Benjamin and Nicholas; great-grandchildren Jordon and Terrin. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Stan, Mike, Bill, Andy, Josephine, Mildred and Olga. He will also be keenly missed by companion Hazel Gale. Prayers will be offered at Sands of West Shore Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, June 26, at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 851 Old Esquimalt Road, June 27 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Hatley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph's memory to Victoria Hospice Society, 1900 Fort Street, Victoria, B.C. V8R 1J8, gratefully appreciated. HAPPY FISHING, DAD!
