Kathleen Bryce Obituary

BRYCE, Kathleen (Cathy) Rilla March 16, 1942 - November 4, 2020 Cathy was born in Calgary, Alberta. She became a Chartered Accountant in 1969 and worked mostly in the Public Service. She loved to travel and had holidays around the world. At home, she could often be seen driving around town in her blue Malibu convertible. Upon retirement she took up Bridge, golf and art. Cathy was predeased by her parents, John and Olive Gilmour and sister Ruth Ann Mitchel. She was a great person to be around and work with. She will be sorely missed. Cathy would stop by usually for wines and quite often to help her with her convertible. Putting the top up or down as the weather demands :) We will miss all the fun chats...Travel destinations, makeup and accessories, cold winters in the Prairies (that we don't miss), perfect pedicures and sandals and the fun of fashion!
Till we meet again, Cathy, we will miss you!

I am sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. We both had fun trying to master the Spanish language at the Goward House classes. Cathy will be missed.

We first met Cathy wheN she and I worked together at the Office of the Comptroller General, Prov of BC, which if probably where we first played bridge. Bridge brought her to our home and we later travelled, taking a cruise on the Norway and returning home via Cozumel, Mexico, and up the west coast.

She also used to come to our annual Robbie Burns feast. We fondly remember Cathy around town in her blue Malibu and deeply regret that we lost touch in the past few years.

Oh no, say it isn't so! Bubbly, sincere, caring Cathy has passed over, forever young at heart. I feel blessed to have known her during our Province of BC days together:)
