TERRELL, Marion Dolores (Dodie) 1 September 1928 - 3 May 2018 Dolores, beloved wife of David, was born in Picton, Ontario and she grew up in Toronto. She met her husband Dave at a dance on 5 May, 1950 while he was undergoing aircrew selection for the RCAF. They were married on the 20th of October, 1951. They had many postings in the ensuing years from Nova Scotia to British Columbia. To Ottawa three times and North Bay, England, and Washington USA. Their two sons, Stephen and Mark were born in B.C. while Dave was serving in Vancouver and Holberg. After 32 years Dave retired from the RCAF and they moved to Vancouver Island and settled in Dean Park in North Saanich. Dolores had a great love of singing, first with the Beacon Hill Singers in Ottawa and then the Sweet Adelines in Victoria. When a few members left that chorus, they formed the Harmonizers, which she directed for many years singing at hospitals and senior's homes. Besides her husband Dave, she leaves her two sons and grandchildren, Jarrod, Zorion and Moyra and great-granddaughter Emma. A celebration of life will be held at Holy Trinity Church, 1319 Mills Road, North Saanich on 26th of May at 2 P.M.
