McDONALD, Marjorie A. January 18, 1922 – October 7, 2021 Our beloved Mother passed away quietly in her hundredth year, October 7th, in Victoria, B.C. Marjorie was born in Westboro, Ontario to Percy and Lillian Simmons. She graduated from Nepean High School and married Flight Sergeant Ronald C. Brooks January 1942. He was killed in February 1943 while on active duty with the RAF. In 1945 Marjorie married Willard (Will) D. McDonald and they had a long and happy life together enjoying movies, gardening, golf, travel, curling and duplicate bridge. They moved from Ottawa to Victoria B.C. in 1996. Will passed away November 1, 2001. Marjorie is survived by her three loving children: Ronalee Brooks Bowdish (Michael), Linda McDonald Sager (Gary) and Alan McDonald (Bernadette), 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her very dear, kind and loving friend Peggy Howard of Victoria. She will be greatly missed. At her request there will be no services.
