WRIGHT, Nance April 10, 1918 August 4, 2007 With love, admiration and sadness we say goodbye to Nan. She was born in Cumberland, England in 1918 to Doris and Joseph Wynn Adair. At the age of 7 she moved to St. Catherines, Ontario and lived there until 1938. Returning to England, she worked at Bletchley Park, decoding with the Enigma machine from 1941 to 1945, and later at Eastcote til 1947. Nan came back to Canada and lived briefly in Montreal before settling in Victoria. She soon joined the Royal Victoria Yacht Club and married Andrew Wright (who predeceased her in 1981). Nan was an avid gardener and supporter of the arts. She loved to travel and made many friends on her various trips. She is survived by sons Wynn (Linda) and Dana, grandchildren Lindsay and Megan, sister Shirley (John) Capper and brother Joe (Jill) Adair, as well as many nieces and nephews. Her family and friends will miss her wit, charm and loving tenderness. Memorial Service will be held at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin 1701 Elgin Road, Monday, August 13th at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Fund. 397663
