Our dad died peacefully at the Lodge at Broadmead, days short of his 95th birthday. He was father to Joanne and Don, Grandpa to Jeffrey and Jennifer and GG to Jonas, Jasper, Beatrix and Liam. He was a Naval officer, a high school teacher, principal and district supervisor of A/V materials, and an early adopter of computer technology. He was a HAM radio operator and assisted many friends as they travelled the oceans. And he was an amateur meteorologist, astronomer and photographer. He lived in the family home in Royal Oak for 62 years, and attended the nearby St. Michael & All Angels church until his health failed.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the MS society or the Broadmead Care society. Our thanks to all who contributed to his care.
