It is with great sadness we announce Ron passed away peacefully surrounded by his 3 loves, wife Sandra Jenkins, and daughters Coreen and Justine. He leaves behind devoted and loving wife Sandra, daughters Coreen (Randy), Justine (Shaun), son Coby, step sons Vince (Abby), Sean (Catherine), grandchildren Jesse, Lucas (Jessi), Cory (Michelle), Talia, Amos, and great grandson Leland. Farewell to my dear old friend Ron. You hired me to play drums back in the early 70's when I had virtually zero stage experience and the following few years proved to be the beginning of my very enjoyable career in music over the ensuing years until I called it quits not long ago. You became what I considered to be my best friend during that time. Always flexible and cheerful, always easy to get along with and always supportive of whatever musical ideas I came up with. You're a good man Ron - rest in peace.

We and our family all enjoyed meeting Ron at the Ravenhill event last spring 2017. We very much enjoyed seeing all he had put into his home and buildings, and his animals. We are so sorry Sandy to hear of this news, and do wish that all the happy memories you shared will help you through these difficult times. Sending our condolences to you and your family.

Everything at Raven hill homested he built or created to serve his purposes in his own way. He was outwardly boisterous to everyone including strangers. His ethics, methods, and rational were clear. I received nothing but kindness and respect from the man that I now only can call "Dad". As the most important thing was the love he had for his best friend "Sandra". That love brought happiness to my mother. Eventhough, they were not always together throughout there days most evenings they were together snuggled under there dogs enjoying the television and each other. I could not ask her to find a better life partner. He was top notch! We will miss you always

Sincerely sorry for your loss, and I share your sadness. I really enjoyed my chance encounters with Ron, last one on Metchosin Day, and sad that there will be no more of them. Loved dancing my feet off to The Gamblers way back in the day, and that's how I'll remember him.

Ron will be eternally in our hearts. He will be remembered for several things. His love of his family and friends. His sense of kindness, but always strong. His corny jokes, that I could never remember, but he could remember all. I will forever have a great memory of Ron walking me down the Isl. and stepping in as my beloved father with no hesitation. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family and all he has touched. Kate and Barry

I was looking forward to meeting up with Ron & Sandy later this year. It has become an annual visit with dear friends, but alas it will not happen. Ron always had a good word for just about everyone. His jokes were legendary. I don't know how Matchosin people will survive without their weekly supply of Ron's eggs!

Rest in Peace Ron. Thanks for all the pleasure over the years.
