Roy STEVENS Obituary
STEVENS Roy Carter a native son of Victoria passed away on September 13, 2003 age 62 years. Born in Victoria on April 24, 1941. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Ada Stevens. Survived by his loving wife Rae of 41 years, his high school sweetheart; daughters, Jennifer Stevens of Chilliwack BC, Janice McKinney of Victoria, BC and granddaughter Kristin; sister, Rae and husband Larry Dibnah and nephew Andrew, all of Victoria, BC., numerous other relatives and friends. Roy retired after 37 years with the Provincial Government Queens Printer; he was past master of Henderson Lodge No. 84 AF & AM BCR, York Rite, Gizeh Shriners, president of Victoria Gizeh Shrine Band in which he played since 1965 and a member of the Royal Order of Jesters Victoria Court 100. Roy was a loving husband, grand- father, brother and friend, his memory will be cherished in the hearts of all those lives he touched. Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Royal Oak Baptist Church, 898 Royal Oak Avenue, Victoria, BC, on Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Norman Archer, officiating.
