Steve first met Flemming when he had a show in Oak Bay at the framing gallery several years ago. Steve and he tried to converse in Portuguese, as I recall...I'm so glad we shared the last three Christmases together with you and Nick and Flemming. We'll remember him as the gallant, charming speech maker at your wedding. I regret we did not know him longer.

We met Flemming at Murray Adaskin's home. We remember him as a kind, warm hearted, and inspirational man. We feel fortunate to have met him and we will continue to think of him fondly and admirably when we look at his art work.
