Chuck was my first philosophy instructor at Malaspina College, but he was much more than an instructor. He became a friend who had an impact on my life I can't even begin to describe. To his family I would like to express my sincere sympathy for your loss.
We met during his first year at Malaspina College. His contribution to my life, my work, and way of thinking is unmeasurable. I will miss him and never forget him.

Chuck was my room mate and good buddy during graduate school at the University of Oregon back in the mid to late 60's. Among other things I was around when he decided that he needed a bullmastif in his house. He was a special person...not many like him. I'll miss him a lot. - Dick Schuller, Vancouver WA (USA)
