PEREIRA, Maria Regina Mendonça It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Regina Mendonça Pereira, who passed away on April 5, 2017. She was born on October 15, 1928 in Ponta Garça, São Miguel, Azores Portugal. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, José, her sons Carlos and Joe, her grand-daughters Denise and Jennifer and her sister Marta in Portugal, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered as the sunshine of our family, always happy, kind, and lovingly devoted. She will be missed terribly. A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church on April 11, 2017 at 1pm followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2pm and Interment at the Royal Oak Park.
