Deirdre “Dudy” (Frank) Pearson, 89, of Audubon, passed away on Jan. 15, 2021. She was born June 21, 1931, in Chambersburg, PA to David and Elizabeth (Feldman) Frank. Dudy graduated from Chambersburg High School (1949) and East Stroudsburg State College (now University) in 1953. On June 21, 1953, at the Zion Reformed Church in Chambersburg, Dudy married her college sweetheart, Henry Pearson, who survives. Socially engaged throughout her life, Dudy was active in her life and those of her loved ones. Life was filled with a vast array of activities and people, whom she touched with love, laughter, joy, and genuine care; she never met a stranger and had boundless energy. An abbreviated list of activities she loved included church choirs, drum majorette, aquatics, cooking, and baking for friends and family, skiing, and ice skating, dancing for fun, and acting. You may remember Dudy from the United Church of Christ where she was an active member for over 65 years. She was also involved in various clubs, and volunteer activities in Norristown, and Shannondell. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Debra (Daniel) Davidson of Cochranville, PA; Randall (Kathleen) Pearson of King of Prussia, PA; Scott Pearson of Royersford, PA; and Elizabeth (Jonathan) Bauer of Skippack, PA; along with five grandchildren, Daniel Flore III, Kelsey and Sean Pearson, Kaden and Macey Bauer. Her four brothers, George Trail, E. Shannon Trail, Charles Trail and John Trail as well as numerous nieces and nephews were also fortunate to share in Dudy’s adventures, and joyful family experiences. In addition to her parents, Dudy was predeceased by her brother, David Frank, and her stepfather George Arthur “Art” Trail. Services will be private for the family due to current restrictions. Donations may be made to the charity of choice in the name of Dudy Pearson. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.rlwilliamsfuneralhome.com.

Dear Debbie, Randy, Scott & Beth,

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of your mom! What a great lady she was - so full of energy and spunk! She always treated me like one of the family and she was quick to lend a hand. I hope that the many great memories of your mom will sustain you in this difficult time. Be sure to take good care of your dad as he’ll need your support and help. Sending you lots of hugs!

Sincerely,
Peggy Joy (Nixon) Swope
