Lucy M. DiSabatino Obituary
Lucy M. (Boccella) DiSabatino, 88, of Spring City, passed away peacefully at Season’s Hospice in Phoenixville on Sunday February 12th, only 15 days after the passing of her husband of sixty-six years. She was preceded in death by her husband Samuel E. DiSabatino Jr., daughter Mary Ann, one brother Sam Boccella, sisters Margaret (Boccella)Mastrocola, and Theresa (Boccella) Bickert, and her parents Mary (Storti) and Philip Boccella. Surviving are her three daughters, Cheryl Neal wife of Michael Neal, of Douglassville, Lisa Satow wife of Kevin Satow, of Lusby MD, and Sandra Epps of Birdsboro. Also seven grandchildren, Matthew Neal, Ryan Satow, Jordan Satow, Jake Satow, Jared Epps, Justin Epps, Jayden Epps, and two great grand children Claudia Neal and Tobias Neal. Lucy (Ruba) was the smiling face and guiding light of the entire family. She brought a unique style and grace to the generations of people that new her well. Always with a smile, always with a song in her heart. She would apologize if the sun was too bright or the room was too dark and found a way to make it just right. She was a warm glow on a cold night and a cool breeze on a hot summer day. She is our RUBA! A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday February 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Rd., Spring City, PA 19475, with Fr. Charles R. O’Hara officiating. Burial will follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Phoenixville. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30-10:00 AM at the church. Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 329 N.
