Oct. 15, 1931 - May 1, 2018 Vallejo James "Jim" Wagner passed over to be with our Lord on May 1, in his home, with family at his side. He was 86. He was born and raised in Johnstown, PA. He enlisted in the US Army after high school and proudly served during the Korean War. He married Danice Jean Cameron on April 20, 1957 and moved their young family to Caifornia in 1962, to provide a better future. They bought a home in Vallejo in 1964 and he began a 25 year civil service career at the Oakland Naval Supply Center, retiring in 1989. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and later in life, golfing. His greatest love was for his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Emmett Clyde; mother, Anna Gertrude; sister, Sally Grassa, and his brother, William Wagner. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Danice Wagner, and his daughters, Tarrie Wagner of Vallejo, and Toni (Richard) Jones of Dixon. Jim is also survived by five grandchildren, Michael (Chelsea) Jones, Crystal (Ryan) Pulley, Kevin Jones, Jessica Jones, and Trevor Jones, and three great grandchildren. Internment will be on May 17, at 10 a.m., at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA 95620. A Celebration of Life will be held afterwards at 1 p.m., at the Open Door Church, 3353 Broadway St., American Canyon, CA 94503.
