Madeleine Mae Ambruso, born June 29, 1997, passed suddenly and unexpectedly on April 18, 2017.
Maddie was the beloved daughter of Victor and Roseann; loving sister of Andrew, Emily and Alexander. She is survived by her maternal grandmother, Rose Buczynski; and paternal grandfather, Dr. Victor Ambruso, and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Maddie was a student at Penn State Lehman Campus with hopes to pursue a career in engineering, among many other aspirations. She loved to be a part of many clubs and activities there.
Maddie has had many jobs over her short life, but currently was working at the Tipsy Turtle Airport Pub, and probably more famously was your favorite barista at Donut Connection in Exeter. She struck up friendships with many coworkers and customers.
Maddie was a 2015 Wyoming Area graduate and as she would love to be remembered, the senior prom queen. She had too many clubs to name but loved tennis and yearbook the longest.
She was a member of Holy Mother of Sorrows Church in Dupont.
Maddie was probably the best read person we know. She loved reading and went through books faster than most of us.
Maddie loved music. It was important to her. She had upcoming concerts already in her calendar for this summer. She loved going to concerts with her siblings and friends. She even planned to take her Mom to see Brian Wilson in May, after seeing the movie.
Madeleine had unusual taste in shows to binge watch, and if you stood next to her for more than 45 seconds you probably already heard about at least one of them. From "Doctor Who," to old episodes of "Friends" and "Bones," she was always willing to share her newest find.
And now it comes to this, meme-lord Maddie. Madds just saw the world from a different angle and wanted to share with the world her unique sense of humor. She posted and reposted thousands of dank memes for your entertainment. She was pretty salty at times, but could also make you giggle out loud.
On her serious side, Maddie struggled for years with anxiety and depression. She fought bravely, but ultimately lost her struggle.
