DALLAS — Nancy S. Kosko, 69, of Dallas, and formerly of Nuangola and the Hanover section of Nanticoke, passed away Saturday, Jan. 6, 2017, following a lengthy illness.

Born May 8, 1948, she was a daughter of the late William and Betty Bax George. She was raised in Sheatown and graduated from the former Newport Township High School, Class of 1967. After becoming a stay-at-home mom and raising her family, she continued her education, being certified as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was employed at Birchwood Nursing Center, Nanticoke, for 20 years and later Guardian Elder Care, Sheatown, for five years until retiring.

Surviving is her husband of 12 years, Philip Kosko; sons Lawrence Pudlosky, of Nanticoke, Michael Allen Dutzar and wife, Victoria, of Dallas and William Dutzar and wife, Kristen, of Shickshinny; grandchildren Zachary, Macey, Mya and Liam; and sisters Jane Oliver and husband, Mike, of Colorado, and Sally Schneider, of New Mexico.

Private services will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no public services or calling hours.

Arrangements are in the care of Davis-Dinelli Funeral Home, 170 E. Broad St., Nanticoke.
