Throckmorton, TX
Mary G. Chandler, 89, of Throckmorton, TX, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m., Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Throckmorton with Rev. Jim Wright officiating. Burial will follow services at the Throckmorton Cemetery. A visitation is planned from 6:00-7:00p.m., Saturday, December 8, 2018, at the funeral home, 107 N. Austin, Throckmorton, TX.
Mary was born February 28, 1929, in Throckmorton, TX, to Birdie (Gregory) and Fred Forman. She married James M. Chandler on June 26, 1948 in Haskell, TX. Mary enjoyed watching Throckmorton school sports and cooking for everyone in the community.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Kay Sullivan of Throckmorton; three granddaughters, Shannon Lee Sullivan of Odessa, Keeley Lynn Sullivan of Durango, CO, and Stacey O'Connor of Frisco; one grandson, Brandon Lee Chandler of Frisco; great-granddaughter, Emily Jane Chandler of Frisco; and great-grandson, Colin O'Connor of Frisco.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Birdie (Gregory) Forman; father, Fred Forman; husband, James M. Chandler; and son, Freddie Chandler.

Chandler family, I extend my deepest sympathy for the loss of my very dear friend who had grown to seem like a member of my own family. Mary Gene was an exceptional lady. I'm thankful for cherished memories of Mary Gene who will be missed by all.
