Timothy Frutig Obituary
Frutig
Timothy Paul Frutig age 48 of Canton, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday June 29, 2013. Born at Dover, on Nov. 26, 1964, Tim was the son of Connie (Parsons) Butler of Strasburg and the late Galen Frutig. Tim was a very hard worker and was always willing to lend a helping hand, he always went above and beyond to help anyone. Tim was employed at Absolute Auto & Truck Technicians Inc. and was also formerly employed at Wallicks Scrap Metal in Dover. Tim enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren which he was so very proud of. He was also an avid Nascar fan, he was a faithful Dale Sr. and Dale Jr. fan. When he was not working or spending time with his family you could find him watching the race when it was on!
Those that he leaves behind will miss him terribly. They include, in addition to his mother, his two daughters and son Ashley (Brandon) Kerr of North Canton, Amber Willaman and companion Jason Dillon of Canton, Senior Airman Austin Frutig and companion Laura Anderson of Calif. Two granddaughters and three grandsons; Casey Kerr, Alyssa, Adam and Aiden Willaman, and Andrew Dillon. Brothers and sisters; Tammy (Craig) Lemen of Ind., Dwight Frutig and companion Samantha Hammonds of Dover, Danelle (Franklin) Richardson of Salineville, Glenda Trausch and Jesse Frutig of Cleveland, Wis. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins aunts and uncles. Tim's former wife, Tina Frutig of Canton also survives. Tim will especially be missed by a life long friend, Jesse Labus and a special cousin, Scott Weaver. Tim's faithful companion Bolt will miss him greatly. In addition to his father, Tim was preceded in death his sister, Lucinda Kuermerle Hayhurst and stepfather, Daniel Sewell.
In keeping with Tim's wishes cremation will take place. Calling hours will be Friday July 5, 2013 from 5pm-7pm at Reed Funeral Home at 705 Raff RD S.W. Canton, OH 44710. Service following at 7pm in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations can be made to his daughter, Ashley Kerr, to help defray the cost of services. Donations can be accepted either at the time of services or contact Ashley Kerr on Facebook.
