Celesia Carol Wallick

55, of New Philadelphia passed away on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021 at her home. She was born in Clarksburg, W.Va., on Jan. 12, 1966 to the late Amos Dye and Shirley (Flowers) Wallick of New Philadephia. Her adoptive father was the late Darrell Riechers. She worked at H&R Block in Dover for many years. She enjoyed riding her horse Breeze, spending time with her family, singing, drawing, painting and spending time in the garden.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Amanda Davidson of New Philadelphia, Joshua (Hope Burton) Wagner of Cleveland, and Sarah (Johnathan) Ayers of Uhrichsville; two stepsons, Michael (Brittany) Wallick and Dakota Wallick; two grandchildren, Owen and Olivia Ayers; six step grandchildren; and siblings, Tina (Brett) Remington and Angela (Al) Petrickas, both of Columbus, Randal Riechers of Dover, Karen (Darnell) Hubbard of Akron and Amber Riechers of New Philadelphia; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father and adoptive father, she was preceded in death by her grandma, Lelia Flowers; father-in-law, Larry R. Wallick and cousin Ricky Ferrell.

Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Barrs Mill Church of God with Lisa Burrell officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 11-1 at the church prior to services. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
