Sheila Anne Bair (Muzechuk)
of New Philadelphia Ohio, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, April 5, 2021, at the age of 79. Born on November 16, 1941 in New Philadelphia, Ohio, to the late Nicholas and Marie (Hamilton), Sheila was the youngest of five children. She was married in 1959, and was a devoted wife and mother to her three children. She subsequently worked in caregiving and retail, and met and inspired many lives along the way. Sheila was a matriarch to her family providing warmth, smiles and encouragement to all. She loved nature, gardening, sewing, bicycling, walking, and Victorian style/decor, and especially enjoyed playing dolls or fishing with her grandchildren. Sheila quietly helped many in need, was an inspiration as her daily living was an example of Christ in action, and gave comfort and encouragement to the many she encountered over the years. Special thanks to the many family and friends who sent cards or visited or called Sheila in her last days …your words provided her comfort and peace.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings (Nick Muzechuk and Dan Muzechuk); and daughter (Julie Anne Greer). She is survived by her spouse, David G. Bair Sr; two children, David (Michele) Bair and Jason Bair; and five grandchildren: Jordan Greer, Alexandria Bair, Lauren Bair, Isabella Bair and Ariana Bair; and siblings Dencie Muzechuk and Tom Muzechuk: and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
There will be a private event scheduled over the next several weeks to remember her positive spirit and inspirational life. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Hospice organization of your choice. Please visit www.OhioCremation.org to leave an online condolence.

I’m without words, I did not know Sheila was ill. We were close friends in high school , we lived just a few houses apart, and I always made sure I saw her when I would come home yearly from Calif. with this stupid covid isolation I haven’t ventured out since Feb of 2020. My deepest sympathy to her family. She was a very special woman of God, a great friend and a wonderful wife and mother she had so much love to give. I’m so sorry for your loss.
