Beverly Jean "Bev" Bowman 1961 - 2018
ILION - Beverly Jean "Bev" Bowman, age 57, of Central Ave., passed away with dignity, early Tuesday morning, July 24, 2018 at the Heritage Home, Utica, which ended her long, courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on April 10, 1961, in Herkimer, daughter of the late Howard C. Bowman and Nancy Ann (Anderson) Bowman, who resides in Ilion. Bev lived with her mother for many years. She was the world's biggest Pittsburgh Steeler's fan. Bev was at one time employed with Dapper Dan Dry Cleaning along with the Turning Stone Casino.
Survivors include her loving and devoted mother at home, Nancy; a beloved son, Christopher and wife Joanne; cherished grandaughter, Emily; aunt, Norina; three close brothers and three close sisters, Peter, James and Kenneth, Connie, Ellen and Laurie; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brother, Howard K. Bowman, on July 20, 2018.
In keeping with her wishes, there are no services. Mohawk Valley Funerals and Cremations, 7507 State Route 5 (corner of Bidleman Road), between Little Falls and St. Johnsville, 315-508-5131 has been entrusted with Bev's cremation arrangements. There are no scheduled services.

My condolences to the family. I'm saddened to hear about this. I worked with Bev many years ago at Turning Stone. We were very close and had many laughs together. Until we meet again my friends.
