Audrey Tannenbaum Obituary

Tannenbaum, Audrey Slingerlands Audrey Jacobson Tannenbaum, age 88, of the Beverwyck Community in Slingerlands, died on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush. Mrs. Tannenbaum resided in Albany most of her life. She was a graduate of Phillip Schuyler High School in Albany and the Mildred Elly Secretarial School. She was a member of Temple Israel, Hadassah and the Albany Jewish Community Center. Audrey was married to Ralph Tannenbaum for 61 years until his passing in 2009. Loving Mother of Jeanne Mustille of Pacifica, California, Marilyn Hayes (John) of Quincy, Massachusetts,and Elaine Hatch ( David) of Chitttenango, N.Y. Grandmother of Rebecca Mustille, Jeffrey Mustille (Erin), Joshua Hatch (Brigit), Tracie and Steven Hatch. Great grandmother of Jaxson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by a brother, Harris Jacobson and a sister, Harriet Gibbor. Services at Temple Israel, 600 New Scotland Ave., Albany on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Temple Israel Cemetery in Guilderland. The period of mourning will be observed at the Beverwyck Community, 40 Autumn Drive in Slingerlands on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Audrey in a special way may make a memorial contribution to a charity of your choice. Audrey along with Ralph were a very special couple. They were so kind and giving to all. We will always remember them fondly. The Albany community is a better place due to their exceptional generosity and menshlikheit. We are honored to have shared in their lives.
