I am so sad to hear of Mike's passing. He taught me to play guttar while I was in high school in the 80s. What a great musician and teacher he was. I have fond memories of all those hours taking lessons in your basement. To this day I think of Mike when I hear songs he taught me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I will remember you always - always an incredible spirit, always a kind word of encouragement, always a big warm beautiful sound with an even more big incredibly warm smile every time I glanced over to where you were on stage. Thank you Michael for you beautiful music. Your ripples will continue for many many years. Rest well my friend and play on...

Dear Harriet, Gary and family,
We knew Mike through your son, Gary, who was a good buddy of our son, Ben, at School 19. Then, over the years, we'd see & hear Mike play at Cap Rep! He always looked like he was having the time of his life...totally in his element!
I"m so sorry to hearing of his death. I know he will be much missed by family, friends and the music community. Sheila and Fred Di Maggio
