Lubner, Robert Myles ALBANY Robert Myles Lubner, 69, of Albany passed away peacefully Thursday, October 18, 2012, in Freeport, Maine. Born June 7, 1943 to the late Robert and Anne Lubner of Albany. Robert was married to the late Deanna Hall. Robert is survived by his sister Susan Lubner of Bath, Maine; his son Jonathan Lubner of Dallas, Texas; and his daughter Tiffany Wismar and her husband Erik, of New Orleans, La. He is also is survived by his niece Sarah Burke and her husband and their daughter of Oakland, Calif.; three grandchildren, Nikolas, Jakob and Kaitlyn Wismar; and other loving relatives and friends. Robert graduated from Vincentian High School in Albany in 1961. He received a BA from Siena College in Loudonville and a masters in social work from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He was chosen "Man of the Year" in 1988 by the American Legion for his work with United Way. Robert retired in 2002 with over 25 years of dedication and service to the United Way. Known to many as "Mardi Gras Bob," he enjoyed bringing a smile to others and sharing his many stories. Guestbook may be signed online at www.legacy.com.
