Honsinger, Anne M. TROY Anne M. Honsinger, 66, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Friday, December 28, 2012 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Frances E. Duffy Barnes and the beloved wife of Daniel J. Honsinger Sr. Mrs. Honsinger was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, class of 1964. She was a longtime devoted communicant of Sacred Heart Church and a recent retiree from the N.Y.S. Compensation Bureau. Anne enjoyed shopping, taking trips to Atlantic City, as well as vacationing with family. She loved traveling to Florida and giving complete dedication to planning family functions as well as daily activities. Anne's greatest pride was in her children and grandchildren whom she caringly supported throughout all their activities. Survivors in addition to her loving husband, Dan, include her children, Daniel J. Jr. and Meg Honsinger of Troy, Paul F. and Karen Honsinger of Florida, Timothy C. and Kristina Honsinger of Albany. She was the proud grandmother of Emily, Daniel, Reese, Anna and Myles; and sister of Mary Theresa Agars, Elizabeth (late Edward) Seymour, Robert Barnes, Brian (Mary Frances) Barnes, and John (Jody) Barnes also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:45 a.m. from the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 3rd St., Troy and at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Family and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday from 3 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann's memory may be made to Sacred Heart Church, 310 Spring Ave., Troy, NY 12180 or to the Community Hospice of Rensselaer Co., 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144. The family wishes to thank all the doctors and staff at N.Y. Oncology and Hematology, especially Dr. Charles Weissman for all the care and compassion that was given to Anne.
