Malloy, Dolores "Lorie" SCOTIA Dolores "Lorie" Mulholland Malloy, 91, died Thursday July 12, 2018, at Ingersoll Place. Lorie was born in Philadelphia, to the late John and Catherine McHale Mulholland, and moved to the Schenectady area in 1948. She worked as a clerk at Lathrop Pharmacy in Scotia for several years. Subsequently, she worked for Fr. Ronald Menty at St. Joseph's Parish in Scotia. Lorie was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and a member of the church Rosary Society, Bereavement Ministry and Social Concerns Committee. She also was a volunteer at Baptist Health and Rehabilitation Center in Scotia. Lorie was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Donald T. Malloy, who died in 1991; nine siblings, John, Martin, Phillip, William Mulholland and Mary Fitzpatrick, Margaret Brogan, Helen Welch, Dorothy Ziner, Catherine Burke; and a grandson, Ken Maloney. She is survived by three children, Thomas D. (Colleen) Malloy of Schenectady, Dennis J. (Kevin) Malloy of Albany and Maureen A. (Frederick Ehrenreich) of Silver Spring, Md.; four grandchildren, Zachary Malloy of Albany and Jesse Wyner of Silver Spring, Megan Buchalski of Scotia and Rory Robert of Schenectady. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral which will begin Monday, July 16, at 11:15 a.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home and at 12 p.m. at St. Joseph's Church, First St., Scotia, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral Home. Burial will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. The Malloy family would like to thank the staff at Ingersoll Place for their caring support during the time Lorie resided there.
