Earl Miller Obituary

DELANSON Earl Alan Miller, 47, of Herrick Road, Delanson, N.Y., died Friday, March 21, 2003 as a result of an automobile accident on Route 30 in the Town of Duanesburg. Mr. Miller was born August 20, 1955, in Amsterdam, N.Y., the son of Earl F. and Philena (Bolster) Miller. He had resided in Delanson since 1996 and had previously lived in Amsterdam. Earl attended Duanesburg High School, graduating in 1973 and later attended SUNY Cobleskill. He worked at Liberty Machine in Amsterdam as a machinist for 12 years and also worked on the family dairy farm in Delanson. He was a member of Pilgrim Holiness Church in Amsterdam. He was also an avid fisherman and collector of comic books. Survivors include his mother, Philena Miller of Delanson; three sisters, Donna L. Kramer of Cameron, N.C., Dr. Lois M. Miller of Slingerlands and Darlene K. O'Conner of East Greenbush; one brother, Dr. Alfred C. Miller of Bath, Pa.; one cousin, Alice Shearer of Amsterdam and several nieces and nephews also survive. Calling hours will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Monday evening at the Langan Funeral Home, 327 Main Street, Schoharie. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at the funeral home with Rev. David Case, pastor of Pilgrim Holiness Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fonda. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Earl Alan Miller to Pilgrim Holiness Church, 120 Division St., Amsterdam, NY 12010.
