Morrow, John B. RAVENA John B. Morrow, 85, passed away suddenly but peacefully on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at home. John was born in Pennsylvania, son of the late Alfred and Bernice Morrow, and lived in Ravena most of his adult life. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean War, retired after many years of service with the former N.Y. Central Railroad and worked for the Ravena Police Department. Survivors include his wife, Virginia A. Morrell Morrow; children, Ben Morrow, Richard Morrow (the late Babette), A J Morrow (Sarah) and Shawn Morrow (Tammy); grandchildren, Nicholas, Baleigh, Michael, Carlie, Ryan, Jack and Maria; and many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by three siblings. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 13, in the Church of St. Patrick, Ravena. Entombment will follow in St. Patrick's Mausoleum, Coeymans. Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena on Sunday, August 12, from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to consider contributions in memory of John to The Church of St. Patrick, 21 Main St., Ravena, NY, 12143.
