Tocco, Joseph A. LARGO, Fla. Joseph A. Tocco of Largo, Fla. passed away peacefully on June 12, 2018. Joseph was predeceased by his wife Margaret A. Tocco of 62 years; his mother Stella Whimple; sister, Dolores Tocco Close; brother Anthony Tocco; and grandson, Nicholas A. Tocco. Joseph was a proud Marine Corps veteran who served in World War II and Korea. He played semi-professional football, was active in Civic theatre, owned a pizza parlor, and retired from New York State. Survived by six children, Steven Tocco of West Virginia, Patricia Tocco Anderson of Delaware, JoAnn Tocco of New York, Timothy Tocco of New York, Todd Tocco of New York, and Joseph J. Tocco of Florida; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Interment to be held in Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Colonie, on Monday, August 6, at 10:30 a.m.
