Pastore, Karie Beth BALLSTON LAKE Karie Beth Pastore, 48, passed away suddenly at home on July 8, 2018. Karie is the daughter of James and Deborah Hoskinson. She is also survived by her husband Michael D. Pastore; and their three children, Alex, Sophie and Myra Pastore. Karie was the owner and operator of Wash Green & Clean in Ballston Lake. She had a bachelor's degree from The College of Saint Rose in graphic design. She was very dedicated to growing her business. She absolutely loved her farmer's market family. When Karie was not working on her business, she was planning her next Rick Springfield trip with her "Rick Chicks." Karie was also truly dedicated to her family and friends. She would always go out of her way to help others with their issue's before worrying about herself. Karie absolutely adored her 20 plus year old cat Ethel, her other three cats and dog Addie. Karie is also survived by her sister, Melissa Hoskinson and fiance Steve Wietecha; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins; and nephews, Nicholas and Aidan. Karie also leaves behind her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Michael and Cathy Pastore; and her sister-in-law, Kristen LeClaire. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 15, from 2-5 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd, Watervliet. A funeral service will be held on July 16, at 11 a.m. in the Burnt Hills United Methodist Church, 816 NY-50, Burnt Hills. Interment will follow in Woestina Cemetery in Pattersonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burnt Hills United Methodist Church, 816 NY-50, Burnt Hills, NY, 12027.
