Woodward, Nancy S. VOORHEESVILLE Nancy S. Woodward died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital. A native of Albany, Nancy met her husband, Woody, in the eighth grade while attending St. Agnes School. She went on to graduate from Mt. Holyoke College, returning to Albany and then Voorheesville, where she and her husband raised their four children. Nancy was active in the Albany community as a longtime member of the Junior League, supporting their thrift shop and singing with the choral leaguers. She also enjoyed playing tennis, was an enthusiastic and accomplished bowler, and loved games of all sorts, including bridge. Nancy enjoyed swimming in the lake by the family's camp in Taborton, and good naturedly participated in the family winter skiing adventures on her signature shortie skis. Her sharp wit, keen sense of humor and loving nature will be missed by all who knew her. Nancy is survived by her husband, Austin "Woody" Woodward; children, Susan (James) Hunnewell, Mary Woodward, Lisa (Cray) Cyphers, and Mark (Shelley) Woodward; sister, Sylvia Brown and grandchildren, Leticia, Pablo, Christopher, Tyler and Madison. Friends may call at Tebbutt Funeral Home on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral services and burial limited to family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Peter's Hospice or Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood. To express condolences, visit
