Oboyski, Paul S. LAKE LUZERNE Paul S. Oboyski, 64, of Call Street, died suddenly Wednesday evening, December 5, 2012 at Glens Falls Hospital. Born on February 9, 1948 in Albany, he was the son of Sidmore and Thelma Oboyski. He was a graduate of Guilder-land High School and Hudson Valley Community College. Paul worked for more than 25 years in maintenance for various companies throughout the Capital District prior to his retirement in 2010. He enjoyed model trains, dancing, playing guitar, drums and singing. He also enjoyed constructing and maintaining his elaborate coy ponds. He was predeceased by a brother, Bruce Oboyski. Survivors include his longtime companion, Jeannette Morehouse of Lake Luzerne; one daughter, Amanda Oboyski of Rexford; two sons, Christopher Oboyski and his significant other, Cara McGlynn of East Greenbush and Peter Oboyski of Schenectady; his stepchildren, Natalie Davis of Schenectady, Robert Gimmler of Hudson Falls and Anthony Crannell of South Glens Falls; one sister, Susan Mehringer of Clifton Park; two brothers, David Oboyski and his wife, Joan, of Saratoga Springs and Richard Oboyski and his wife, Ann, of Burnt Hills; a sister-in-law, Beverly Oboyski of Goshen; six grandchildren, Elise Oboyski, Michael Kirk and his wife, Moriah, Robert Gimmler III, Cade Cordwell, Ashley Crannell and Anthony Crannell, Jr.; one great-grandson, Michael Kirk Jr. and several nieces and nephews. There is no public visitation scheduled. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Pine Knolls Alliance Church, 614 Gansevoort Road, South Glens Falls.
