Stephanie McGeough Obituary

McGeough, Stephanie M. ENGLEWOOD, Colo. Our beautiful Stephanie has passed away at the age of 54, on September 21, 2016. Stephanie was born on April 23, 1962, in Albany. She loved children, traveling and reading about history, especially Queen Elizabeth the first. She was a warm, caring person and a friend to all. Stephanie loved her school, Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park. She played soccer in the recreational league and had many friends there. After moving to California in the early 90s she settled in Englewood, where she was a collections specialist for Sprint North America. Steph loved Rock and Roll concerts, and often went with her brothers to Red Rocks when Rush or The Allman Brothers played. She left us suddenly and unexpectedly. Stephanie will always be in our hearts and greatly missed by her mother, Barbara A. Hale; stepfather, Martin Hale; father, William J. McGeough; brothers, Sean M. McGeough and Patrick W. McGeough; her nephew, Ryan McGeough. She was predeceased by her brother, Kevin J. McGeough; maternal grandparents, Margaret and Arthur Jay; paternal grandparents, Margaret and John McGeough; and uncle James McGeough. A ceremony will be held in Albany this spring to celebrate her life. Any condolences may be sent via email to [email protected].

As previously written as "Math Hale":

Stephanie will always remain in my heart.
- She was a supernova shining ever so brilliantly.
- Yet, she was A Candle in the Wind.
- A very special and unique person.
She loved her family above all else.
Compassionate and caring she felt for all of those who were less fortunate.
I will miss you Stephanie.
